Who We Are

Anita DuBose is the Founder and President of Confluence Care Management. She is a Professional Care Manager and a member of the National Association of Care Managers. Anita has 15 years of experience in consulting with and managing Senior Care Services in both institutional settings such as nursing homes and assisted living facilities and in independent living arrangements. She has been the primary care manager and hands on caregiver for multiple independent living Seniors throughout this time. These experiences have provided Anita with the perspective and expertise to advise, assess, and manage Senior care issues and events.

Fran McGuire is a certified Registered Nurse who studied at Texas Women's University College of Nursing in the Texas Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Evanston, Illinois. Her nursing career has included varied positions from Staff Nurse to Administration in hospitals in Houston, Texas and College Station, Texas. She has also spent many years in Patient and Staff Education in both Houston and College Station hospitals.
In recent years, Fran's background has allowed her to serve as a Care Manager for seniors. She has combined her healthcare knowledge and experience with a compassionate dedication to the needs of the elderly and their families. Fran's interaction with Confluence seniors extends well beyond the clinical. She interacts directly with them to provide care that improves their well being and outlook. Fran applies her practical problem solving skills to the common everyday issues that arise for seniors.
Reducing stress, red tape and finding workable solutions are her speciality.

Sheryl Allen is a Registered Nurse, who is currently specializing in Geriatrics. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin, and has continued her education by attending Blinn College and Texas A&M University, both in Bryan, Texas. Sheryl Allen has been, and continues to be, a part-time Instructor in the Information Management Department of Blinn College on the Bryan, Texas, Campus since the Fall Semester of 1999. She has taught courses in Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, and Health Data Content.
In addition to working at Blinn College, her other employment experiences include Nursing Homes, Home Health Care Nursing Services, General Hospitals, and Facilities providing care to behaviorally challenged children and teenagers, and adults. Throughout her career, she is, or has been, a College Instructor, Staff Nurse, Head Nurse, Weekend Supervisor, Nurse Assessor, Home Health Nurse, RN Consultant, Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Hospital Services, Halfway House Director, Inservice Instructor, and Employee Health Nurse.
Originally from Wisconsin, Sheryl has made her home in Texas since 1971. She enjoys the warmer weather, the long springtime, and the friendliness of the citizens of Texas.
